Cardiology is a branch of internal medicine that deals with diseases of the cardiovascular system. Cardiologists are specialists in internal medicine with a focus on cardiology.
As part of a cardiovascular preventive medical screening, we identify your personal risk profile and recommend specific preventive measures in the spirit of “longevity.”
After a nutritional inventory and anthropometric measurements including body fat analysis, we calculate your energy requirement, which is then used as a basis for a nutritional recommendation with diet plan in accordance with your personal goals.

Professional Background & Philosophy
With nearly 20 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings at two of the largest cardiology centers in the Rhine-Main region, I am pleased—together with my esteemed colleague Dr. Konstantinou, with whom I share a long-standing professional collaboration—to welcome and care for you in our joint private practice for cardiology and lipidology.
After completing my medical studies at LMU Munich and earning my doctorate, I moved to Hesse and began my cardiology training at Markus Hospital in Frankfurt. Following several years of intensive care training, including additional certification in emergency medicine, and completing my specialization in internal medicine and cardiology, I assumed a senior consultant role, leading the echocardiography laboratory and holding authorization for cardiology specialist training.
During this time, I was actively involved in a research group, contributing to multiple research projects and publications, including collaborations with Dr. Konstantinou.
After transitioning to the Cardiocentrum Frankfurt at the Zoo, I obtained additional qualifications in cardiac pacing and most recently in cardiovascular preventive medicine. A key focus of my work is the early detection and prevention of internal medicine conditions, with a strong emphasis on cardiovascular health.
My long-standing interest and expertise in nutrition-related diseases and the influence of dietary interventions on cardiovascular risk factors are currently being formalized through additional certification in nutritional medicine. This will soon be complemented by the expansion of our private practice to include a dedicated obesity consultation service.
I have lived and worked in Frankfurt—my chosen home—since 2006 and share my life here with my two children, our dog and my husband.
