Acute infections (often accompanied by fever as the main symptom) are among the most common problems for patients of all ages and a major cause of concern for parents. Careful questioning about symptoms and the course of the disease, along with a careful examination, enable targeted diagnostics. Subsequent treatment based on guidelines and modern scientific findings supports patient recovery.
Acute pain or other sudden health problems in children can be very worrying. They can be caused by injury, infection, or other causes. A prompt examination is important to determine the cause and begin the appropriate treatment.
Vaccinations are the most important and effective preventive medical measures for strengthening our immune systems from an early age to combat many life-threatening diseases. The spread of diseases can be prevented.
Preventive Examinations in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine are the most important tool for promoting the healthy development of children and adolescents from birth to age 18. They help identify the causes of health problems early on, before they occur, and initiate appropriate measures. Regular examinations allow for early detection of physical, mental, and social developmental changes and individualized treatment.
Recurring disorders such as abdominal pain, skin rashes, or learning difficulties (selected examples) can severely impair long-term well-being. Early diagnosis and individualized treatment are important to alleviate symptoms and improve the quality of life for affected patients and their families. This can significantly contribute to their recovery.

About the Practice
From February 2025, you will find my new practice premises in Berlin-Mitte at Eterno Health, Schicklerstraße 5–7, directly behind Alexa and close to Jannowitzbrücke. I look forward to welcoming you to my practice within the Eterno Health facilities.
The practice offers acute consultations as well as preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings for infants, toddlers, schoolchildren and adolescents. My aim is to support the physical and emotional wellbeing of the entire family.
In addition, on days when no regular consultation hours are visible in the calendar, I offer the option of home visits. Due to route planning, you can register your request, and we will contact you promptly to arrange an appointment. Telemedical consultations are also part of my services.

CV
As a paediatrician by passion, I was co-owner of the St. Hedwig Practice in Berlin-Mitte until October 2024 and worked there in outpatient care. Prior to that, I was employed for 18 years at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
During this time, I worked clinically in the fields of paediatric haematology and oncology (including stem cell transplantation), paediatric gastroenterology, paediatric endocrinology and diabetology, as well as in additional areas of medical training and research.
